The daily updates feature provides a way for users to receive notifications on their Assistant device at the time of their choice each day. It works when the user invokes one of your Action’s intents that you’ve configured as a daily update, and follows a registration prompt. The prompt can be provided mid-conversation or as a suggestion chip when the user exits your Action.
It’s best to offer the daily update subscription right after you show the user how your Action can help them. Doing so ensures that the user is thinking “I’d like to get this every day” before making a decision. Otherwise, they may unsubscribe soon after registering.
